~ Should make at least 3 pies.~
7 cups
Cake & Pastry Flour
1 lb.
Lard
3
½ tsp.
Salt
1 cup
Cold Water
Directions:
Combine flour and salt in a large bowl and cut in lard using knives or pastry blender, until mixture is cut into pea-sized pieces.
Slowly add water until mixture is dampened.
Knead on hard surface until mixture holds together.
Refrigerate for 1 hour.
Cut into 4 pieces.
Roll out pastry as needed.
